Here's the thing, if he was allowed to get close to it, GM would likely have issued a gag order. They take that about as seriously as the no pictures policy. They'd be able to track down who said what pretty quickly as there would only be a limited number of people who could have seen what you say your friend saw.

So, either your friend knew this and was willing to risk it, or he never saw anything if he exists at all.

Cooling fins... Hmm... Neither ZR1 nor CTS-V have these, perse; well, CTS-V has a few right on top... Seeing as how LSA would need, at least a different upper plenum, since it doesn't fit under Camaro's cowl, maybe this is what we're seeing.

I wouldn't be risking my job like that giving these secrets out on a popular 5th Gen forum like this one. Espec one that a lot of big wig GM guys read.
