ZL1 springs installed on my 2LT/RS

This weekend I installed ZL1 springs on my Camaro we replaced the stock V6 Springs with a set of ZL1 springs what a difference 1.25" lower

the 1st two photos are of the stock spring height, the next group of photos are of the car lowered.

The two photos of the springs out of the car (V6 on the right, ZL1 on the left) so you can see the difference.

I used to be able to fit 4 fingers in the wheel well from the top of the tire to the top of the fender, now it's hard to fit 2 fingers in.

Looks so much better now

Ride is a little stiffer than stock (not harsh) but a better feel to it. So far handles good once I do the rest of the suspension I should really feel a difference.

Looks a tad lower than stock ZL1s... Any alignment issues? Please keep us updated with the rest of your ZL1 suspension upgrade, as well as some part numbers.

I think it looks a tad lower than stock ZL1 because his stock tires are a little taller than stock ZL1 tires. They fill up the fender gap nicely.

Any extra needed parts to complete this, was waiting to get coilovers so I was not going to purchase aftermarket springs, but this could be a great bridge until I can buy coilovers. Where did you get them, online or dealer?

Nope no additional parts it's a direct swap, 2 hours from start to finish.

Not sure price my buddy removed his stock ZL1 springs to put new ones on so he gave me these I would estimate the ZL1 springs are in the $300 range for all 4.

Not sure if I read this correctly. You don't need an alignment when you swap out the wheels but shouldn't you check it after new springs are installed?
