ZL1/1LE Wheels on gmpartsdirect

I've been searching for the black OEM 10-spoke wheels standard on the ZL1 and 1LE for a while now. After some long searching I seem to have found them on GMpartsdirect for almost 40% less than what a dealer would charge. Are the rims legit or is there some sort of catch here? Also, has anyone had experience with the site? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Did you check the shipping cost? I don't buy from them because their prices look great until you add shipping.

I didn't see the ten-spoke wheels, only the 20" 5 spoke. You'll have to select the 2014 MY.

I typed in the specific part numbers and the rims DID show up. I typed in 22798741 & 22798743 (the black 10 spokes) and got the results.

Yeah it was $320 for shipping and about $3200 total for the rims, core charge, and shipping. A steal compared to the $4000 my dealer quoted me for

My dealer's parts department matched the GMPartsDirect price for me on some engine parts. Maybe yours would do the same if you take them a printout showing the part number and pricing? Worse they can tell you is "get bent"....

Good idea. I will definitely use this to hopefully get a better price out of my dealer. Thanks!

I'm a proponent of GMpartsdirect.com because their total price mostly beats nearly everyone out there. Not always, but many times. You have to be a savvy shopper and do your research.

I just priced out a set of 10 spokes on gmpartsdirect.com and got a total of $3626.38 (includes the $200 core charge for 4 wheels).

On shopchevyparts.com I can't get to see what the shipping is, but the price with the core charge included is 3221.90. If it's less than 405 to ship the 4 rims, this would be one of the few places with a better price.

gmpartsclub.com has them for 3541 and change (shipped to my address) and includes the core charges.

Total price is what you're after. Even if they charge $1000 for shipping, so what? If they're giving you the wheels for $2400 for example, you're still paying less overall. Gotta do the math, not just be shocked at a higher than typical shipping fee.

Buying new looks like you'll be popping around 3500 plus or minus wherever you go.

Great point you made. I totally agree and thank you for the info with the other sites as well

UPDATE: the rims on shopchevyparts can ship UPS ground for $160. Not too bad
