so today i pulled into the college parking lot went to my usual end spot in the middle of timbucktoo where a really wide spot is so i don't get door dings. Im sitting in the camaro rocking out to the new pearl jam xm station and a sheriff who regularly patrols the campus pulls up and gets out of his squad car. My heart starts pounding so I put the window down. He says to me "Nice car man Ive seen you around and never had a chance to check your car out." I thought it was pretty cool he also commending me for not hoarsing around with my car like a lot of other students do. It made my day and also was pretty cool to see a sheriff recognize that Im not some punk college student. I did ask to test drive his squad car which was a charger...he said no

he could follow me all he wants i don't plan on speeding not after seeing that thread with the camaro flipped over

and im just proud that a cop actually complimented me instead of harassing me because of the whole "young guy and sports car" crap

And if, we all put our professions on here, there could be sarcastic, smart ass comments about every one of them. Probably even Mr. Wolf. OK...so my first post was not really all that nice. I was a Law Enforcement Officer way longer than a member of this forum. Retired now and a little protective of the current hard men (and women) protecting those in a civilian capacity. Mr Wolf...I don't apologize, but I might understand your point of view now that I calmed down a little. MAYBE.
