Why did you remove the maf? To clean the TB?

Also I used a microfiber and a little bit of gel engine degreaser to clean mine no need to go nuts. The oil in your intake manifold isn't going to hurt your performance too much.
When I cleaned my TB my idle seemed better that's about it

My idle is pretty rough and I was getting about 22 mpg aeverage which is low for all highway driving. I usually get 26, so thats why I cleaned it. Mine was absolutely filthy.

The OP has a V-6, the oil in OUR manifolds really effects the performance.

Your going to loose performance with winter blend gas. I would wait till spring to see if your mpgs went down due to dirty TB.

How many miles before it started showing a rough idle? I'm starting to wonder if it's the same issue with mine. I do know to run cleaner through the valves every 12K miles because we have DI only and no gas cleans them.

ive had a rough idle for a while. I thought cleaning the TB would help.

It didnt. I did notice a slight improvement in acceleration, but I also reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery overnight.

I think my idling problem is coming from the trifecta tune. I will one day revert it to the stock tune and see what happens. do you have the trifecta tune too?
