Splashguard question

I saw a post a few weeks ago of a simple thin black splashguard that attached using the innerfenderwell clips. They were very subtle and blended in nicely. Does anybody have the link? I can't seem to find the post again. I seem to think it was through Ridergraphics but I may be worng.

This one?

Before I saw this one I was planning to make some for myself. (dunno if it would turn out as well) I cant stand those huge clunky looking ones from GM.

Thanks! Those are exactly the ones I was looking for. I knew the company name began with an R.

I agree with you completely. The big chunky ones just don't go with the lines of the car at all. They don't look as bad on darker cars because they kind of blend in, but they look terrible on brighter cars.

I wouldn't say they look terrible at all, it's hard to notice them when you just glance at it, of course if you go up and look at the car you will see them clear as day. I just bought a set, the paint on these cars are horrible, I drove for 1800 kilometers on NON gravel roads yet there are still over 10 chips on the car. And those other splash guards look cheap, just my opinion....

I don't think they look bad at all. Either way you definitely need them. Behind my front tires was awful. At least they covered up most of the damage.

I don't think its going to do much, it looks like it covers a smaller area than the tread of the tire. Atleast GM's cover the full width of the tire.

It really only needs to cover the part that is exposed. The inner part of the tire wont 'splash' up onto the paint anyway.

I put the GM molded splash guards on mine and have nothing but compliments on how good they look.....

I saw pics earlier today of some big plastic looking behemoths on a blue car. Completely ruined the look of the camaro. Made me think of training wheels.

I put the factory ones on and I really like them. I think it actually makes the look lower to the ground.

I've yet to see any that don't look clunky and ruin the lower lines of the camaro.
