Thinking about Hooters night again, but..

[Tampa Tuning]

So I get PMs and Emails about if and when im going to do the once a month gatherings again in Tampa.

So I thought Id check interest.

I was thinking about the Brick House on Dale Mabry and Cypress just off 275 in Tampa.

Maybe a Tuesday getway night or something. You show up if you want a brew and a wing, or dont show up if you have other commitments. Just something to do once a month.

What's your thoughts.

We used to do Hooters on Wednesday nights, it was in a bad traffic area and kind of died off. It was fun while it lasted.

Brickhouse girls are not "Calendar" girls, more the girl next door type in short shorts, then they all get up on stage and dance and play the brickhouse song, just cute college girls makin a living.

Thursday is better. Closer to end of week.

Thursday is QSL night for me, Wednesday is Winghouse night, so Tuesday would be perfect.

QSL is nearly every week. This is once a month.

Plenty of people don't go to QSL.

Pete, it's the old Rio-Bravo, they have those big garage doors that open facing the parking lot if the weather is nice, outdoor patio, plenty of parking.

I just started going again the last two weeks, I missed a few months due to a bout with kidney cancer, got out of the hospital a few weeks ago, layin in the hospital bed on a Thursday night all I could think about was getting back to QSL and hanging out, now I value any time I get to hang out with other car folks.

Yes, QSL played a factor on Thursday.

Wednesday Tampa Bay Corvette club have their meeting.

Friday and over the weekend, resturdays dont need business.

Tuesday seems like a good dead day during the week for a resturant, so that will help them. Brick house has several nice parking areas on both side and in front. Direct exposure to Dale Mabry so more cars that didnt know about the event can float in.


I ate lunch there yesterday just to get a feel for the place, but didnt quiry about the car night yet.
