Talked to a former co-worker this morning that I hadn't seen in a couple of years. Asked him how he liked his 2007 Mustang GT he bought new. He said he likes the car a lot but had a few problems in the beginning that were covered under warranty.

I asked him if he has a hatred towards the Camaro like many Mustang owners seem to have. His response was priceless....he is pissed off because he likes the new Camaro's more than the Mustang he bought and wished he would have waited to buy a Camaro. He said he thinks that is the feeling of many Mustang owners and it comes down to anger from jealousy. Reminds me of the commercial "Oops I should have had a V8."

I have often wondered how many Mustang owners that wished they wouldn't have bought a Mustang after seeing the new Camaro.

My friend just got a 2010 mustang half a year ago and he's so pissed he didn't get a camaro

I have owned three mustangs and 2 camaros and I like both the same. The camaro's look better and usually handle better but the mustangs are much faster in a straight line. 5.0 is faster than the SS, Boss is faster than the 1LE, and the GT500 is faster than the ZL1. The camaro also has a better driver position. jmho.

I think that only because the mustang has basically had the same body since 05, so its a bit outdated now. Now, the Camaro just came out on 09/10 and its something new and fresh and many people love it! (just how most loved the Mustang at first)

What I've always wondered is why the Challenger didn't sell as much as the Mustang or Camaro did. I personally think it looks a lot better than the Mustang and its really close to the Camaro in looks.

Hmmm. Mixed feelings here since I like both in one way or another... and decided on one variant of each. BUT if I just had to have only one, then I'd probably rid off both and get a new ZL1.

Probably because it is the most expensive, the slowest, the biggest, and doesn't really compare to either a Camaro or Mustang. LOL!

I kind of think of it like Audi in between BMW and Mercedes.

i like the looks of the challenger. but from what ive heard they have bad customer service and cost ALOT more than the camaro and mustang. i was looking at a used 2010 challenger SRT8 that was going for 38,900........that was 6 months ago.
