the vicepresident of our club f-bod mexico (www.camaro-transam.com) just drove off the new maro !!!!!! here in monterrey mexico (supposed to be the pittsburg of mexico lol ) .

How much will the Camaro be in mexico? I've seen some 20k MSRP cars selling for almost twice in mexico.

There were truck loads going that way weeks ago.... Must be the one's that did not have to wait for QC and were built prior to the 16th.

well , considering challenger RT is 47,000(30k in usa) ,mustang 2009 33,000 (17k in usa) ..............the corvette base here is on sale just for 85,000 lol (50k in USA)

my guess is 45k for a 2ss camaro , plus we have to pay every year just for the right of owning a car in the case of the camaro it would be like 900-1100 USD per year. the price gets to high cuz of the gouverment taxes , 2 of em .

1-IVA (like tax) that account for 15%, all states.

2-ISAN (tax over new vehicle ) just because the vehicle is new you must give, i dunno how much % to the ****ing goverment.

the brighter side is the insurance is very cheap =) , 1,000 the whole year and it doesnt matter if u are 16 or 70 years old , or if u have a awful driving record. and oh yea here everything is just 3 or 5 miles away and finally cuz of the high price here the camaros are seen as a very exclusive car , if u see a corvette driving down the street here in mexico, is like stare at a ferrari pass in front of you in the states.
