Is there a special paint I need to buy that won't get damaged by engine heat? This looks like a fun DIY project.

I PM'd buddylok and he said he didn't use anything special and he's had no problems so far. The lady at home depot, however, told me there would be a real chance of the dry paint catching fire because it should not be exposed to temperatures around the 220 Fahrenheit mark and my engine is at 201. That's too close for my book.

Is everyone's engine cover still fine? Mine cracked. Not sure if from the excess heat of a supercharger.

Mine has been good for well over a year now, as well as my chrome letters I put on it are still stuck to it. But now I'm thinking about re-painting it again lol so
