Dale Jr.'s Ground Effects CGM or DAS? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does any one have any ideas? To me it look CGM, but I was wondering as I am always changing my mind on color. I like the GFX package (rockers and diffuser, not so much the splitter). And my Camaro has had its color changed umptenth times from black to CGM and back again. I think that black would look great with a GFX in either CGM or DAS with CGM stripes. However, would CGM look good with a DAS body kit?

As far as I can tell from the pics, the colors are comparable. So if I got a CGM car it would match?

The GFX package on the Dale Jr. Camaro was painted CGM to match the top half of the car. Compare that to the yellow SEMA Camaro and you'll see that the yellow one has the stock dark argent metallic finish. It's not as shiny as the painted GFX pieces on Dale Jr.'s car.

IMO, I think the unpainted GFX kit looks blah. Rather then blend in with the body, it stands out. Kind of like what they did with the lower panels on the Challengers to make the body not appear as slab sided as it actually is.

If I were to get the GFX package, I'd make sure it was painted to match the body, regardless of the color on the car.

Oh I do see your point. THNX, Im now worried that the greyish of the GFX wont match the CGM matte vinyl striping. I think ill just NIX the GFX kit. Im sure an awesome aftermarket will come out.
