Removal of front bowtie questions

Has anyone removed the front bowtie on the grille? Is it glued in place or secured by clips?

1st. Open the glove box, in the back there is a nut, turn the nut untill all the tention is off the bolt.
Next pop the hood and look for the little red anchor rod( pass. side below the a/c). unbolt all the retaining bolts and remove the rod.
Go back to the glove box, A phillips head screw will now be visible. unscrew it and you will feel the slack pull back.
Finally get your kahooter ring puller and put it on the embelem, turn 3 turns and it comes right off!

It doesn't matter really. If you remove it, you will have a large impression of the bowtie since it is inset into the grill.

I took a picture from behind the grille. It looks like it's clipped in.

Is that what it looks like to you guys?

Oh okay. You should be fine then. Pry it off with a plastic body filler spreader.

Does anyone make a filler piece for this?

SLP makes a filler pirce called the landing pad. You can install SS or RS emblems on it. I believe Revolution Motorsports has just a filler piece that fills in the bowtie indentation but completes the lines of the stock grill.
