I have a 1.5 Ton low-profile jack and it seemed to struggle lifting the car. I couldn't fit my jack stand underneath to secure it, hence why I put it back down.

Thanks for the reply though.

I got it on Amazon I think it was 175 bucks
It lifts the car with out any problems.
I tried the impact for ha ha's and it worked good too! I still use a torque wrench, and it all runs off the car battery (or 12 volts)

You are braver than I. I tend to use floor jacks not scissor jacks.

1and 1/2 is all you need

You wanted to know where to put the jack stand. Here is a good place for the front.

Low profile floor jack my wife got me for Valentines Day. From Harbor Freight. Slides completely under the car.

I'm running into this with my 1LE... Looking to pick up a floor jack and that one from Harbor Freight caught my eye... I'm not in the mood to buy another $300 jack from Sears.
