Damn! Just knew I was missing something. I told my wife you all must have come down on Sat. or something. Oh well, it was a blast otherwise. Try that crazy deep fried butter. Oh and catch the dog trick show too. Won't be making another fabled overnight trip to D'town. No way in hell I'll get outa' work again before Thanksgiving.

I will be there on the 7th....taking the New Transit system to the Fair this year....have been going to the fair for the past 6 years.....will not try the fried butter.....just sounds like that would be to much to handle....LOL!

Northwest of Dallas... near the D/FW Airport, out highway 114. Won't be on your way for the caravan, but I'm definitely looking forward to meeting everyone who makes it to the Fair.

Since some of you've done this before, clue a brutha in... what's the skinny in terms of location in the Fair, are the cars on actual display (but not accessible) to the public? I know we can leave, but can we hang out around the cars? What else can you share? My wife and kid are really excited, and my Dad is planning to go to the Fair just because my car is going to be there!
