Grinding 2012 v6 auto base model
After sitting for 3hrs or so the first forward motion of the car grinds for about 2 seconds or maybe 3 short taps on the gas. Then it doesn't do it again until it sits for another 3 hours or so. I can play a soccer game (hour and a half) get in the car and it won't do it. 36k miles. It can be in"manual" or drive .

You don't give us much detail about where the noise is coming from so it is hard to give you any advice. It might be something simple, but it might be best to just take it to dealer to let them diagnose it under warranty.

Yeah I'm in the military overseas or I would :( I'll tape the sound but in order to isolate it I'll have to get it off the ground. As it only happens while it's moving . I'm a little concerned with bringing it in to people who don't know anything about Chevys without some sort of direction as to what it may be.
