I wouldn't go more than an inch. You could probably get away with 1.5" but I'd be willing to bet you'd hit a curb or parking block eventually.

i was running a little over 1 1/2 inch , but wore the crap out of my rear 315x25x22..seems that when you drop that far, you start to get into negative camber area...that will wear the crap out of inside tires...had to raise back up to 1/4 to get camber around -.02..my tires are like 30% tread in 3k miles on rear from the negative camber...really only would hit on driveways with sttep inclines or dips in front of driveways if i took to fast...biggest issue is trying to jack car up..get boards to drive on a good low profile jack

depending on the tire diameter and width of the wheels, you can do down about 1.5 inches...
send nine ball or one of the suspension guys a pm.

If you have the proper offset on the rims and the tires aren't huge, you should be able drop as low as anyone else. Most people adjust their tire selection to mimic the overall size of the stock setup so tire height shouldn't change much. If you drop more than 1.25in in the back, you run the risk of not being able to get the camber within acceptable ranges to get good tire wear unless you have a aftermarket alignment solution.

if you lower your car that much it is a good idea to get a set of alignment bolts to give you more camber. pedders makes a great set found here https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au...Code=PDUSA5420

This is a 1.5" drop with factory tires and wheels. It does have an ACS front splitter so the ground clearance is really as low as you should go. There is not a lot of margin for error on the streets. Note the clearance when Nelson was going over the curb. Granted he is being overly cautious, but it is right there.

I'm pretty low but it's all about the alingment when going down to 1.5 or lower or it will eat the rear tires alive as mikepage0007 pointed out before!!!

Something about water burnouts and 1/4 mile passes has a tendency to wear the tires kinda fast... |
