Thank you! And yes, VERY high quality products from ACS. Great to do business with, too.

When I finally got this next mod installed, I found it hard to remember how I ever did without it! Thanks to the fantastic products and help of "2SSRS" and a great DIY, Brandon at Saints Motorsports hooked me up yet again.
OEM Rear View Camera/Mirror! It has made parking in tight spots MUCH easier...and with my T2 front Splitter it is almost always a better idea to park in reverse. This is the complete kit. The harness provided by "2SSRS" allows it to simply replace the stock mirror. Some pics of the install: Brandon used a dremel to carve out a niche for the camera to fit. There are a few ways to do this on the DIY, depending on what model Camaro the camera is going on. We snuck in some LCD's for the license plate and some Oracle footwell lighting as well (red to keep the subtle red accents throughout)... And finally, the install was done! It's quite subtle and so far has only been noticed after I point it out, but it makes a world of difference. It's a wide-angle, so a quick glance shows me if anyone is coming from either direction. LCD appears in the mirror when the car is put in reverse: Closer for clarity:

I too can't believe this. I also think the SS headrests should have been red on RS models and white on non RS models. instead of the weird color they are now.

Also, I just had to include some Camaro shots in my recently-taken engagement shoot! Thankfully I have the greatest fiancee ever.
As you can see I had some inspiration... Special thanks to Jennifer Williams (www.jenwillphoto.com) for taking such amazing photos. Best wedding photographer I've ever seen, hands down. I'll post more as they become available. PS- Before anyone tries to or me for having the pictures taken while on the hood, I'd just like to make it known that extreme care (and a footstool) were used to make sure the hood remained pristine. *EDIT* More photos available!

One mod that I had been on the fence about for awhile was the ZL1 Upper Grille. I actually kind of liked the "egg crate" grille the way it was, but once I got the ZL1 grille installed I was glad I did it. Soon as I saw the grilles go on sale on the forums I jumped on it.
One last shot of the old look: I made sure to clean all those hard-to-reach areas while the fascia was off. It's amazing how many bugs you can kill just driving around town... With some slight modification, we were able to use my original bow tie on the new grille. I also ordered a spare "RS" emblem to cover the "ZL1" space on the right. It fits almost perfectly- a slight edge can be seen around the "RS" upon VERY close inspection. The finished product. Looking meaner than ever!

Have you ever thought of painting wheels black? It would go with your color choice.. |

Actually, I have definitely been thinking about some black rims lately. Kind of waiting on these current rims/tires to go bad first, though...just because they're so expensive. But it's on the list...as well as a new hood, side-rockers, etc...

WOW....nice thread Will! You have done a lot of mods on your car since I last hung out with you guys. Good job on everything. I will be doing a new mod soon also, not because I want to but because I had a little mishap on the 1-5 about two weeks ago. So this mod is a must.
PS: I never knew you had a build thread going until today.
