Tires... Tires and Tires! Tire Question

So I have the MRR FS01's and I currently have tires on loan (Pirelli P-Zero's)

I was originally not going to swap the tires and buy these, but the size in general has me wanting a slimmer side wall. These 35's just feel to tall.

Currently:
285/35/20
305/35/20

So my question....

What sizes should I get front and back if I go with 30 sidewall height in the back? (305/30/20) I ask, as the 305/35/20 rub on the interior in the wheel liner.

If I go 30 in the rear is 35 up front still good? do I go 30 upfront like the 1LE is equipped with? What is the proper size to make these tires not look like odd sizes tires on the car front and back?

305/30/20 = 27.2" rear
265/35/20 = 27.3" front
Or
285/30/20 = 26.8" front

Looking like 285/30 & 305/30 will look okay. Downside... I can only find the rears in stock. Tirer Rack seems to only have PSS Cup 2's which is was pricey. I am looking to snag P Super Sports

Rear tire will always look bigger, you have an 11" rim.

If you went with a 10" rim on the back..... then you could get matching tires. $$$$$$$$$

So.... do you think going 30 / 30 would look okay vs. 100% awkward with my 10" and 11" rims? 35's just feel so tall.... Based on the image above, I think I can get away with it and it will not look to awkward. Might have to buy P-Zero 30's based on Michelin being unable to keep tires in stock.

will help with that staggered raked look as well that I like.

Why do you think they feel too tall? The gen5 had 28.4 inch diameter and the 305/35/20 are about the same. Don't you want to fill up the wheel well? The ride is already firm, if you go down to a 30 series tire its gonna be stiffer yet. I think the 30 series will be shorter then stock is, downside is they'll hate pot holes

It can't get any closer than that. Unless you put a smaller tire on the back.
Drop the rear to a 295, you will eliminate any rubbing concerns and hit a 27" diameter.

Always tough choices when a good chunk of coin is involved.

I think the 285/30 & 305/30 combo is good. It will give it that classic muscle car look where the back is slightly beefier.

Also a fan of Pirelli, tracked some Zeros awhile back. Heat up real nice and stick.
Not a fan of the price... :(

Could be my eyes, the sunlight, who knows... just looking at these vs. the new 1LE setup it feels really tall. Might be the rim. But I think a good 30 would be nice.

I would agree if I was going stock size with the 30's, but a 285 and 305 with 30's are still fairly good sidewall height compared to a 30 on a 245 tire.

Here is a 245/30 vs a 285/30. the 245 looks very skinny and the 285 looks somewhat normal (to me)

I am getting 20x9.5 and 20x11 3 pc wheels eventually, I was going to run 265/35/20 front and 305/30/20 rears, was going to go with NITTO NT555G2s. It's a street setup, I don't see a need to get ultra wide tires on the front personally.

I gave up waiting on Michelin's. Snagged P Zero 285/30ZR/20 & 305/30ZR/20. Both 99Y rated.
