I don't know about that 4th gens dropping. I've actually seen some pretty high prices on some 01's and 02's still. like 18K+ for some. I've even seen a badly cloned SS 4th gen asking 15. (it was originally a Z28 with RS ground effects package).

I'm sure that the value will drop a bit, but I doubt it will be anything like my tahoe did when gas went crazy :(

Wondering the same thing about GTO's. Love mine but the 5th Gen is looking pretty sweet.

Wait until the 5th gen comes out to BUY anything(market will be flooded with 4th gens), sell now if you have more than one car.

Well....I'll be selling my 4th Gen when I'm ready to buy my new 5th Gen. I'm going to try to sell it outright, but might end up trading it depending on what they offer. All that you get on the trade goes towards takes too....so, might not be too bad.
I'd much rather sell outright though. Hoepfully to someone that'll take care of her. |

I just recently bought my 4th gen. The reason was the cost of gas to and from work. This is way more fun to drive and gets better mileage than the old Mercedes. Originally I was going to drive it until I was ready to buy the 5th gen. But the wife like it a lot and we have even talked about buying another one for her. About a week ago I mentioned selling it to buy the 5th gen and she freaked out. So, I may be hanging on to it. She wants a red 4th gen.

I know one thing for sure: First Gens will only keep going up! (that's the way it seems anyway)
