Window error after installing CAI Help!

This is for a friends cai btw!

Okay so he installed the cai and is giving him a "put window down the up" error.

Does anybody ever have this problem and have a fix? or is it need to go to the dealership. he has a 2010 rs stock with just a vararam cai. I'm going over there in a hour to go check it out and wanting to know any input before going over

If he disconnected the battery he may just have to re-index his windows.

This... Just gotta roll the window completely down the back up not a big deal

already tried and said it did not fix issue. Oh and yes is disconnected battery

should say something like

Open then close the driver side window....this may take a few times to take, hint is to keep pressing the down button a second or two after the window is down, and a second or two after the window is up...

then it says, open then close the passenger side window (the first time I did this i did not catch the passenger and thought it was doing it again), follow the above for this as well

if he has a vert it goes to the back window then.


its a bit buggy, ive had to open and close the first window several times before it took

If its not saying to open then close it is a diferent alarm

He's going to close the window all the way down and hold it. Then bring the window up and hold it for like 5 seconds or until the message goes away. I had the same problem but it's fixed now.
