What surprises me with this pass is that the car only picked up 26 mph after the 1/8th. I figure a car with that much power should be picking up closer to 30 mph, especially considering it's a manual. My stock a6 picks up 26 mph.

Saw one reply that I only picked up 26 mph after the 1/8th. but when the cars going side ways at top end I backed off to save it. Verses putting white concrete rash on the side of my car. LOL

How secure do you feel about not blowing the engine making that much power on stock short block? Or do you plan on pushing knowing your going to build the engine later?

I really love that this car is a manual. Yeah, autos are better for getting quicker ets, but I really like the challenge and satisfaction after making a successful pass shiftin' gears.
