Am I the only one

Hey guys just wondering do you have people constantly asking to drive your car. (Not strangers) I always say no, but nicely.

When I got my Vette back in 2005 and now that I got the Camaro a month ago, I said the same thing both times. I'm going to have a lot more "friends" now then before I had the car.

People even ask to drive my beat-to-crap camaro, so im geussing plenty of you lucky bastards with 5th gens get asked that a lot!! Of course, my camaro is my baby, in almost 3 years of owning it, only once has someone other than me driven it. And that was because I broke a toe, and physically COULDNT drive lol. But I still tried

I only let my 2 close friends "test drive" my car. They're both good drivers with nice sport cars themselves. They don't mind me taking theirs for a spin neither.

I will always say no, but I will let my little brother drive it at least once. His 2010 Challenger was a college graduation gift to himself and his BABY. So, imagine my surprise when he shrugged his shoulders, said, "You want the keys? Here." and threw them my way, just so I could go out for a night on the town with the girls!

My brothers (I have 3 of them) and I are not close in the least, but to show me that much compassion and trust with something he loves more than his own sister probably (), really meant a lot. So, he's the one person I plan on letting drive mine.

No way! Maybe if it was an auto, but after I let a friend of mine with a 67 Cougar 3 speed drive my Camaro the day I bought it I thought he was going to break a world record for stalling...the Cougar's mechanical clutch is entirely different!

No way. Its almost as creepy as letting them use your tooth brush or wear your underwear.

Unless they have something of similar value for you to ride.

I've let friends drive mine, but only after laying down strict rules and never without me in the car. And it's never more than a mile or so down the road.
