Tough crowd here. I think it's awesome to see companies still investing in the LS3. Kudos to MSD...

Actually what we should wait for is results from testing on this intake. All we know is that MSD says it's great and Vararam says this is their old breadbox design that was scrapped. We will soon have data to settle the dispute. If this intake makes 10-15hp after testing and Vararam still sits on the fence trying to better their design yet not making it to the market, they are going to miss a lot of sales that hungry intake guys have been waiting for. A bird in hand is worth more than 2 in the bush! Time to come out of the bush! Hope to see Vararam hit soon. Then all the hype will be put to rest.

I was mildly interested in this intake, but I have it on good authority that it has already been removed from Ken's Z28. He went back to a ported LS7 manifold.

They look nice but they don't out-perform the traditional headers.

They help with TQ. That's what I was looking for.

Look at the TQ numbers on the Z/28 with Tri Y's vs the ZO6 without.

All my hot rodding life Tri Y's were better for TQ. Still true today on an LS3.

I think this will get Vararam's butt in gear! Well said.

From what I was told the gains were minimal and overall the curve with his ported LS7 was better.
