The quick and permanent solution is to just go to the dealer and get a replacement reservoir from JDP or your dealer. It's basically the stage 2 kit.

When I got my kit I initially had the cap and just didn't like the look so I got a new reservoir from the dealer, they automatically overnight it if they don't have it in stock.

So the master without the capped outlet, would be a master reservoir for a car with a automatic trans then?

Yes, the stem is still there but it is basically plastic welded/crimped shut.

How much did the dealer charge for it?

It's been a while, I remember less than $50, maybe $35. I might have mentioned it in my build thread, check my signature.

Automatic reservoir p/n is 22956543 and lists for $42.65. You get new O-rings and cap for that.

If your dealer gives you a discount, you get it for less than that.

Saw them for around $33 and change on ebay.

I have never attempted to swap out such an item. How easy is it to swap out that reservoir? I assume its held in by o rings, so just pry it out and replace?

IIRC, pull a screw and pry it off. Drain fluid first obviously. Press in the new one add fluid.

Put some rags around to protect the paint from some spillage...

Just found out my reservoir is leaking, would taking it in for warranty work even be worth it? Car is stock, 23k miles, and CPO.

I installed a tsp stage 4 cam, on the way home from the tuner, had the clutch pedal stick 1/2 way after going into 4th. Flushed the fluid to dot 4. Big difference, no issues for a couple days, but stuck once again. Got a wilwood resivour... installing tomorrow, hope that does it.

Do you mean you flushed the factory reservoir using the Ranger method? How many times did you pump and replace? If done correctly no way the pedal should have stuck in a only a few days. Separate reservoir probably will yield same result.

There are several other things that can be tried from getting a stronger clutch return spring either after market or a GM via TSB ( see thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=456908) to getting a billet throw out bearing to replace the stock plastic one that shreads over time ( see post 6 in this thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473645 ) <= my money is this is the cause of your problem. Wait until you see the pic of that shitty plastic bearing

I did follow the ranger method. It has only done it when going into 4th.. after wot, 1-2-3-4....when I go to shift into 5th, the pedal is stuck 1/2 way.

If you still experience the problem after installing the Wilwood rervr and you don't want to open the clutch to replace the the throw out bearing, then I would suggest going with the IDEALG larger master cylinder along with a stainless steel clutch line as you're saying it only happens at WOT going into 4/5 suggesting not enough fluid & too hot fluid is going to the slave.
