JANNETTY RACING solved the 1 wheel burnout problem

With all the power we are making with our Street Killer Package, 735 RWHP, we quickly found a weak link in the drive train, the Posi Unit.

It does not Break it but it only spins 1 tire.

We saw many 2010 Camaros at Camaro5fest that were also doing 1 tire burnouts in the burn out box.

So we tore in to our posi unit and have come up with a solution to Beef up the Posi Unit to handle the extra power and the extra traction from Using Slicks or Drag Radials.

We are Also installing quite a few gear sets, this Posi modification will be part of our Rear Gear Package on all Future 2010 and beyond Camaros

Send us your Pumpkin and we will Install and Set up New Gears, (ratio of your choice) Debur the Case, and Modify the Posi Unit to our specs.

Price is yet to be determined but will be very competitive.

What are you doing, welding up the spider gears? HA,ha

Detroit locker would do the trick.

Come on, where's your sense of humor?

All kidding aside, what's the cost of this upgrade?

Sorry I missed the last line in your post. I'm sure it will be an upgrade that's well worth the cost knowing that you guys are doing it.

I've also noticed that my Camaro (has F/I) will sometimes spin one wheel. In the morning, when the engine is relatively cool, if you stomp on the gas (not even full throttle), the rear tires will break loose, the car will turn sideways a little bit and there will only be one trail of evidence.

This has puzzled me for a while now. I'm glad to hear JR has a fix.

Btw, my car doesn't have near 750 rwhp.

This exactly what this is all about, Yes the Camaro IRS has Posi but a Lose one.

Detroit lockers are very noisy, Clunky so we shy away from them for the street.

I can't believe there'd be such a weak diff from the factory. I bet a set of gears wakes a 2010 up pretty damn good, though. I'd love to see what a street car with a real rear end and supporting driveline mods can do.

The Diff is a Pretty Beefy unit, the but the Posi set up has a lot to be desired and I fix it, with a few parts and a little ingenuity.

This is funny because last time I was at the track it felt like I was getting just one tire to spin on one of my burnouts. I thought I was crazy. I'll have to keep an eye out, is it the same tire everytime?

Wouldn't this be a warranty issue?
