To be honest If its a good deal you can always get someone to swap with you a better suited setup and give you some boot maybe since it doesn't seem that you plan on building the bottom end anytime soon. I personally wouldn't never put a f1r on a stock motor just to much blower.

That's one of the big key parts. I'm not belt driving an extra transmission worth of drive train loss of the front of my crank. The good news is blower guys are making a lot more crank hp than they think cause they don't add in the extra 15% loss there. Bad news is that's 15% more load on the engine to get the same whp.

Lifters fail to Rpms 99 percent of the time that they fail.

Not many miles yet but I'm 12 psi and a 100 shot of nitrous on a stock L99, stock cam. LT headers. Proper fuel, timing and tune. Hope it lives, so far so good.

Exactly. I think Killmode's car is only revving to 6k or so because it makes 700+ft/lbs all over so why rev it to the moon. That keeps the motor together and lifters happy.

RPM's kill everything much quicker than just filling the cylinders better. Stock rear ratio, tons of torque and my car was walking GSXR1000's bone stock L99.
I actually lowered my shift points and redline 100rpm lower than stock. The L99 cam is falling out of power up there anyway. Do what the engine wants to do and is happy with, don't rev it.

The NMCA typically looks at the F1R as a 7 second capable blower.

If you looking to take one of our 4000 lb beauties into the mid 8's I'd say sure go for it.

If you are thinking of going into the 10's. I'd focus on a different blower.

This place is full of guys who did fully built motors to make under 700whp. It's crazy.

I have been one of these guys who camaro5 put the fear in. I'm 603/588 rwhp with only 8lbs of boost, seems like its only really in 6lb range on my gauge unless I really run the rpms out. I also run meth which comes on at 3lbs just for safety. I wanna pulley down since my car runs rich with a conservative tune and fuel is not a issue with my small setup, but everything I read says "be careful or your gonna blow"

I dunno, I hate the mixed reviews. I guess I should pulley down and if it blows then so be it..

This is my first LS or even Chevy for that matter, so this has been a learning curve.
