Dealer installed TVS2300 supercharger should be OEM OPTION. Especially if Z28 dead.
I think a TVS 2300 should be an ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT OPTION for the 2010 Camaro to be dealer installed. A option package would feature conservative boost/timing, and be offered as a package with a limited warranty.
I ESPECIALLY think this should be an option if the Z28 is really dead. If not, I think GM Performance Parts should AT LEAST offer a TVS 2300 package for the 2010 Camaro/G8. It would offer a solution for everyone. |

For what it"s worth, Maggie is saying their TVS 2300 is 30-60 days away.

I think it was a Magnusson or Eaton write-up I saw about an LS3 that showed that the 2300 had a good peak but lost a lot of low-mid power and that the 1900 was better suited unless someone planned on stroking and camming with forged internals.
Anyways I've also read that the LS3 really need to go forged pistons either way and strengthen the valve train... Not a neccessity but it goes a long ways to bullet proofing this already badass engine! |

Just wait for SLP to produce the Firehawk Camaro.
No idea if they are actually making one but who would have expected them to make a Firehawk G8. |

Hmm... I'm not sure about a Firehawk Camaro... I could see a ZL1 Camaro; maybe a COPO Camaro. I'd figure they'd keep the Firehawk name for a Firebird, but if they have one for a G8, then you could be onto something.
Maybe that's what it was - the power curve was pretty soft on the bottom; that sounds familiar. That 1900 is good for 800 HP, according to Magnusun so I think that's get me by pretty good. A 2300, for me, would just be for bragging rights, LOL. I'm just worried about that driveshaft and rear end (along with the axles). I'm sure the wheelhop is gone, but it sounded like the Launch Control would allow a 4K RPM launch, and adding another almost-100 horse' close to that RPM, let alone a lot more torque could make a bunch of spaghetti out of all that stuff, no?... I'm just throwing it out there, having not seen much more than the statement about it handling something like 600 horse'; I don't remember if that person what credable or not though.

Weak low/midrange with a POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT blower ?????
Don't believe everything you hear/read. People have been adding FI to LS1/LS2/LS7/LS3 engines for a LONG time. Check with the people who actually have been doing it for 10+ years (ECS, A&A, Cartek, Vette Dr's) and try to ignore everyone else. The TVS 1900 is a great blower, but the TVS 2300 is the way to go..... even on a stock engine. Whoever moved this thread regarding a suggested OEM OPTION from the General Section: Thanks. |

There will be plenty of places to get a 2300 on a Camaro, just don't hold your breath waiting for GM to be one of them.
