Scan tool with GM and Ford OE coverage?

No offense to you GM brand loyal folks but, I need a PC based scanner to troubleshoot my Ford 6.0 L Powerstroke. I'd like to have coverage for my 2010 L99 on the same tool.

The diesels forums seem to prefer Auto Enginuity (http://www.autoenginuity.com . They offer OE support for most brands with optional coverage interfaces. My next truck may not be GM or Ford so a wide range of OE support is desired.

Any recommendations or comments on Auto Enginuity would be helpful.
