Ordered Mine. Anyone else have these issues?
At first I went to dealership around 10:30 a.m. and they gave me gave the dear in the headlight look. They were unable to access the Ordering information. I gave them the PDF download; 17 pages in all on how to order the car. They seemed quite surprised that I had this info and they didn't. to say the least I left there quite disappointed. I even called Corporate headquarters in Michigan and they said they had been fielding calls like this all day. Well the good news is around 5:30 p.m. or so They told me that they were in deed able to place an order. They told me the tracking number would be in in about 3 days or so. My question is has anyone else had this much trouble in getting their car ordered and is it true that such tracking number will indeed take 2 to 3 days before I can track the progress of production.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |

I just got back from my dealership. I was the first one to order too! Wahoo.
They also had very little information and didn't know what to do to order one. But the salesmen were awesome and sat down with me, took it step by step and we all figured it out together. I kept telling them... "camaro5.com says you can do this, GM says this, blah blah blah." It was funny, how some schmoe like me knows more about this vehicle than the dealership. I really tried telling these guys that, the more you know about the Camaro right now, the more you will sell. And they were great helping me out. |

If they placed the order electronically and printed out the summary sheets from the Order Workbench, the tracking number is the first thing on the page. It will be alpha-numeric like MFKF5A

Because the system didn't have pricing, they didn't hit send. They wanted to make sure that they could...I was the first to order.
I was more worried about no mention of launch control on any material or accent lighting |

I placed my order today and they gave me a Quick Order sheet with all the options I wanted and all the shipping and dealer info. He told me that all dealers won't be able to order until Thursday. Is this guy lying to me?

Haha, if only we could get 'em straight off the line, airdropped in our driveway in a crate with a packaged crowbar and a "Thank You!" note from GM.

I got my order number the other day. Question..... Once you get a confirmation number is it to late to change a dealer installed item? I don't think I want the Hurst shifter anymore...
