ZL1 rims on SS pirelli tires

Does anyone have a pic of their car with the ZL1 rims on the stock SS tires?

Which ZL1 rims, the factory or the reproduction?
If you're talking the factory wheels then the stock SS tires don't fit.
If reproduction then they will fit 20x9 and 20x10.

Well, my rims got stolen last night (yes, it sucks) anyways, the company my insurance goes through as far as wheels goes, called me and we were discussing my options. I have an SS but figured I might as well upgrade. I told him I wanted the black ZL1 rims with the goodyears. He said the goodyears would take at least a week but the could do pirellis. I'm guessing he meant the pirellis that come stock on the SS?

here you go

It's not a close up, but it's a pic. These are the factory reproduction wheels. 20x9 up front and 20x10 in the rear. The stock tires are mounted on them. 245/45/20 up front and 275/40/20 in the rear.

They look like they would fit better if the 275/40/20s were on the front with 285/35/20s in the rear, but they fit like they are. If you want to see a close up pic just send me a PM and I can take some for you.

stock ss rears 275/40r20s on all 4.
stock zl1 20x10, 20x11 wheels

yes, 275 on 11" is a little stretched, and is at the limit allowed by Tire & Rim. But... I got the tires cheap.

So you are going to commit insurance fraud. The SS wheels are like 600.00 each and the ZL1 wheels are 900.00 each. Now if you want to save the insurance company some money you could ask them for Factory Reproductions wheels.

its not fraud if they'll buy you whatever you want or just give you cash and leave it up to you. hell my insurance company gave me a cheque for my house when the town half burnt down and said "just take it and go" lol

Who cares about saving the insurane company money? Im pretty sure hes spent more than the cost of the ZL1 rims over time with his premium anyway. And never once in there did he say that they werent making him pay the difference or even how much it was going to cost them. If the insurance company wants to pay for them then thats on them and not the owner. Jeez! Make him a criminal and lock him up why dont you
