Wheel issues

I have a 2010 RS that I bought used just a few months ago from a dealership, not a chevy dealership though. it only had 27,000 miles on it. in the last month or so the "coating" is flaking off of the wheels. its still under 36,000 miles...has anyone else had this problem and if so will chevrolet replace the wheels?

The wheels may have been repainted, possibly to cover up some curb rash. Need pictures.

If the original purchase date was within the 36 months, it should be warranty work... but, knowing that 2014s are for sale, might be unlikely. Have a dealer check your VIN, it should show when the car was bought.
