Horsepower is what you read about, torque is what you feel

Hi Everyone,

I have to admit that I never really understood what TORQUE is. Even Horsepower was a bit of a mystery until I found this:

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_th...in_automobiles

If you want to know what the difference between horsepower and torque (and what they really mean) check out this article.

Enjoy!

going to add it to the wiki, just dont know how that's going to work.

I either need to put all the info together or just link it. Any ideas?

how about consolidating all the info here into the first post & then link the wiki to this thread?

i'd even offer to compile the thread, but on an ipod, it'd take a year
