Not only does the window sticker state it but so does the Chevrolet website!! 12 months!! Even the pickups are getting 12 months free now!! The ZL1 gets 12 months other Canaro's get 3! I too am also dealing with this!! My trial was to end yesterday, but I haven't been in my car for over a week now so we'll see what happens next time I get in it!! I've called my dealer and XM twice on this now as well!! So what the heck is going on!!

When I first got the warning from XM I called them, they said that I had to contact the dealer. When I got shut off I called the dealer. Dealer said they had nothing to do with it. I called XM again and got the customer service group. They opened a case and restored the service. So we will see when I get shut down again.

I will not contact them again. I will go to a consumer protection group which investigates consumer fraud for free. In this area it's "Call For Action" thru a local TV station.

been dealing with this issue as well. not sure bout the '13's but the 12's do come with 12 months xm as it says on the window sticker and in the book. for some reason dealers are only renewing for 3 months at a time according to the xm rep i spoke with. mine has been turned off twice already but the rep that handled it assured me it wouldnt happen again so we shall see.

To the people who called and got it restored, did you need to have the car on when they restored it? I can't be driving the ZL1 in my current weather, its like 38 here.

You have to at least take it out of the garage unless u can pick up signal in yours. I had to put mine in driveway as no signal inside my garage

Radio on in the driveway where it can pickup a signal.

You should get XM in the Garage, I do and I also get it in my plane within the hangar.
There is terrestrial transmitters for XM, so it may depend on where you are.
