A few additional pieces of info are needed:
Your info says you have an LT, but do you have a 1LT or 2LT? Remote start is only standard on 2LT but it's available on 1LT with Convenience and Connectivity package.
Do you have an Automatic or Manual transmission? Remote start is unavailable with Manual transmission no matter what trim level/packages you have.

If you have a 2LT (or 1LT with C&C package) AND an automatic transmission you can remote start the car by hitting the lock button once then immediately holding the start button (it looks like the half circle arrow just under the lock button on your remote).

All of this can also be found in the owners manual for future reference.

If the car is unlocked you have to press the lock button twice, if the car is already locked you just have to press it once. Also you have to HOLD the start button, not press it.
