Just two years.

It's on the way.

2 years, about to enter its 3rd, and knowing GM it will be at least 6 months after they first show it before it goes into production. Maybe as much as an entire year. And seeing as New York is the last major autoshow of the season we might not get an ATS-V until the 2016 model year.

Yes yes ... 1+1=5. But unless GM breaks from tradition (or shows it in New York), I don't see how we can get an ATS-V until fairly late in the ATS life cycle.

It really isn't that big a deal. There are LS1 4th gens reporting 30mpg on the highway, and those were made 16 years ago, with half the tech that is in the new stingray.

Factory LS1s make 460 HP?

Amen, these engines are just so solid. Hands down the best engine platform/family ever made. Overhead cams my ass.

The EPA test can't really be compared directly to real world number, and I'm sure that there will be C7's flirting with 40 mpg in the real world (if they're not already), with an engine that makes nearly 50% more power than the LS1.

Yes. Union authorized it today but it's more than likely just a threat.

Next gen Volt in 16 months, two variants with different EV ranges/pricepoints.

Omega Cadillac flagship late next year.

3rd gen LaCrosse in early 2016.

A few years ago I'm pretty sure I said that would be a good idea.
