Question about Wheels

So these are the standard 5 spoke wheels on the SS and I have no idea what is going on with them, I took them to my chevrolet dealership and the manager there said he could do a claim but it would probably fail because he thinks I have used some sort of chemical on them. Can anyone actually tell me what happened and if it was a chemical what caused it? The only thing I've used on the wheels is Blackmagic aluminum wheel cleaner and Chemical Guys super suds (Pink stuff)
PS: I couldnt get the images to appear in the thread so click the link for a few images, Also the front wheels are way worse than the rear wheels. I have had the car for 2 and half years.

I think you’re gonna find the black magic aluminum wheel cleaner is the problem. Call the manufacturer of the cleaner and ask them.

For what it's worth, my silver wheels on my 16 SS look exactly like OP's. I have only used standard carwash soap on my wheels...BUT I did buy the car used and have no idea what the previous owner did to them.

That's a bummer I hate to hear that, I purchased mine brand new and if black magic cleaner did cause it I'm a little mad about it. I only used it 2 or 3 times because it claims to put a "wax" coating on the wheels!
I planned on getting new wheels but they look bad now.

Looks like they might be defective wheels! Let them file a claim and see what happens as you never know GM might warranty them. In the future I would use any of the wheel cleaners on the market now that are safe for all wheel finishes! Advance Auto, Autozone and other parts stores including Walmart sell different types of wheel cleaners. Good luck!
