I see all these companies making new carbon fiber parts for the door panels and around the instrument cluster but what about where the radio is. I dont want to get carbon fiber interior parts only to have this gray thing right in the middle of the interior. Can anything be done about it?

IMO those interior trim pieces look like total plumber-crack and whoever puts them on a camaro should also throw a 3' spoiler and a bunch of JBL stickers just to keep up appearances.

But see the only issue I have is that kit just covers all the areas I could have painted. But all these carbon fiber interior mods would look dumb if all the buttons were still gray. Completely defeating the whole purpose if ya ask me. Come on Chevy with all that damn bail out money you think you guys could make some more aftermarket options. Throw us a freakin bone here.

It covers all the areas, yes, but it does a s*** job doing so. You can tell its just some gigantic, thick plastic sticker when its on and it just looks cheap as hell. I was actually looking into maybe being a guinea pig and buying the orange carbon fiber combo that they have but then I saw my friends Civic that has those trim pieces and it just looks like somebody pulled down their pants and dropped a cleveland steamer right in the car. If you want to change the trim, I'd say paint it. you'll be much happier if you do so IMO.

I'm still waiting on my dash kit from carid.com. I'm only using patrs of the dash kit to replace the silver accessories on the interior. Don't think i'm going to go all out with it.

I read on there about the guy who bought that red civic hatchback, gut it and spray painted V-tec and stuff on it. Pretty hilarious

Same here, I received my kit and I'm planning on replacing certain accessories only, not the whole kit
