Are Flowmaster exhaust available yet?
Hope it's not a repost, but I wanted to know if flowmaster had any systems ready for the ss. If so I am looking for that deep rumble sound but at the same time doesn't sound sloppy. Which series of the flowmaster do you guys recommend?

Yeah some guy has already had them on.
Check this link. I had 40 series on my 92 Z28 and loved them. That could be a start for you. The 50 series also sound very nice

I am interested in this too!! I keep hearing that the Flowmaster 44 series (I think) is supposed to be awesome. When I talked to a local exhaust shop at length about the car and such, they were leading me in that direction as to what they would recommend. They did really like the SLP solution too but said they were expensive in their opinion. Sorry this does not help much but I keep waiting for someone to post sound clips of the Flowmasters on the SS. The only clip I see on this forum really sucks because of the audio on the camera that was used. When the guy revs it, all you hear is distorted crackle. What is strange is that several fellow Camaro5 people commented on how awesome it sounded. I guess it was...if distortion and crackle is considered awesome. But that was the fault of the camera. Some of the LS3 Flowmaster videos on Youtube of the C6 Corvette sound sweet though. Subscribing to this thread to see feedback...

You can get Flowmaster mufflers and put them on - but the full cat-back kit won't be ready for a little bit yet - I have been in contact with them regarding their full system - it is in progress and should be available soon is the last response I got.

Is it true that the "X" pipe configuration is where the raspy exhaust sound comes from when revving? I don't like raspy which is why I was going to keep the "H" pipe from the factory and just do axle back. Is this correct or am I way off?

By adding just the mufflers, will that give me any added hp and the deep sound?

Kinda and yes. You will have a slight HP gain with replacing the stock mufflers, and you will definitely get a better sound - maybe not as good as a cat-back system, but better than stock. I'd look to see if you can find the thread where someone put flowmaster mufflers on - I think they had a video.

According to the Flowmaster web site, the Flowmaster 40s were designed to be quiet at idle and inside the cabin. The Flowmaster 44s, however, are the most aggressive and loudest muffler they make. Unfortunately, there's not many sound clips around, if any, for the 2010 Camaro. There are some great sounding clips of the '06 GTO on youtube though. Granted they have the LS2 engine but that's pretty close right? Just do a search on Youtube for GTO Flowmaster Super 44 and have a listen. I am seriously considering getting the flat black Super 44s along with a resonator delete when I take mine to the exhaust shop.
The only hesitation I have is the resonator delete. Guess that's not much different than a Cat-back system except it will only be 2.5 inch factor pipes with an H-pipe config. That should sound pretty sick right? Should be a hell of a lot cheaper too, right? EDIT: Just found C6 with Flowmasters. Think they are Super 44s. Just serach YT for C6 Flowmaster Exhaust. Sweet. Here's my favorite:

Hey Edrock, looks like we think alike. We have the same car ordered, and I have Super 44's waiting, will pair with ARH headers as soon as I get them. My car is here waiting for a truck. As soon as I get it all together I will try to post a sound clip. I have a 3 inch 44 on my hotrod truck, sounds great, deep rumble.
