I think Adam is flat out in 6th gear and the LS7 only pulls to a bit over 6k in 6th.

Hold the phone, this thong only goes 160, thats being liberal. What? Thought the ZL1 could get yp to 200 I saw it on youtube on a dedicated car one where it had the mustang Boss and the ZL1 the boss could get to 196 balls out, I don't get it. Please tell me there is a reason for this. I know it wasn't that long of a straight but man, it was crawling at 155. Not a hater at all, just curious.

Your memory loss was caused by consuming green beer last week.

"Big" top speed numbers are for poseurs. Close ratio transmissions that keep the engine in the powerband and max the top speed at what is commonly usable on a track sells cars to trackers.

Trackers - Poseurs. Got it?

Pete the Z/28 went faster at the track by 6 sec.

Quote:
GM credits the suite of exclusive technologies for helping the Z/28 deliver a Nurburgring time of 7:37.40, putting the car on par at the famous German test track with some of the world’s most prestigious sports cars. The Z/28 pulled its time in the rain, too, Oppenheiser notes. He says the car posted 7:31.9 in dry testing, although that is not considered an official time because cameras were not rolling.

Great vid. Nice car. Good numbers. Not as interested as I thought I might be. I'm Jonesing for a lighter, more toss-able car next. As great as this car is, and let's face it, it and the ZL1 before are great but they just came along too late for me to get behind. For those on the right car change schedule, enjoy. I'm always up for a ride along.

Correct sir. I think that in slightly warmer weather the Trofeos will come alive and the Z/28 will break the 7:30 mark
