If you owned your own business you would understand. NOW your the one being greedy. Has this kept you from working, making a living, or just don't have a cool car to ride around in? If I gave into everyone who wanted something that wasn't my fault I would be out of business. Can't Happen!

I predict the end of Allied is near! If they are operating under a contract to GM and or Chrysler, legally they cannot just arbitrarily decide they need to raise their price because their operating cost went up. They will lose big time in court!!

I have money tied up in a car that I ordered. I also have a buyer for my current vehicle that isn't willing to wait. So.. no.. I'm not being greedy! Until you walk in my shoes, do not judge!

Sucks for the car owners.. But don't bash the unions. This country was built on unions, And they are responsible for keeping wages in this country high, and benefits fair. If your not paying union dues, then your welcome. We fight for economies, not just personal rights. Im a Steelworker ,and will be for life. Again, your welcome.

If Allied is in posession of cars that don't belong to them, and they are not fulfilling their contracdtual obligation, then isn't that called theft? Isn't that grand theft auto on a grand scale? Court fees, penalties, and GM/Chrysler not giving Allied any future business could put Allied out of business. If that happens as a result of Allied and their union unable to agree on wages, and puts hundreds of union employees out of work, then its hard to argue that the union was just looking out for its employees. Sounds to me like the bosses at Allied and thier union could have handled this a lot better to say the least.

Then allied should fulfill their contractual obligations.... and fast.

I wanted to ask if you don't already have car or truck ownership is there any legal ground to sue Allied? Chevy would need to sue. Where does that leave you?

It took over 8 months to get my ordered Camaro, I understand the frustration!

Has nothing to do with the union. Allied tried to cut the pay of the Teamster union members by 20 percent and were unable to do so. So they are trying to get there money else where. It's all in the verb-age it you read it.

If I were you, I'd file a police report with the Dearborn MI PD. You have financial interest in property someone is wrongfully holding. It may not go anywhere, but at least worth a phone call to see if they would be willing to take a report.

If there is a contract, there is a legal binding. I am sure these owners did not put down $$$ and order their vehicle without a contract. It seems to be a slam dunk for Camaro owners. I would sue both Chevrolet and Allied for breach of contract if you have a guaranteed delivery date and have put down $$$ to make sure it happened. Check your paperwork!

GM is just as much to blame for the current scenario as anyone. take the 15% (what are we talking here $100 per car max?!) hit and find a new shipper... it beats disappointing customers and HOPING they see it as allied's fault.
so does that mean i can come to your business and say i'm not paying you, lets say $1,500 for something you may or may not sell,i walk in and say it cost me $150 in gas to drive to you and back home to buy whatever it is you may sell and you refuse to take my deal and say that you have say 10 people do the same and you refuse, are you gonna shut your business down by not making $ and get rid of your employee's.....just saying,
