What did you do with your stock exhaust when you replaced it with a cat back system?

I plan on getting the maganflow 16580 competition series exhaust installed tomorrow by an exhaust shop. I was wondering if I need to keep the stock exhaust for any reason. For example, would it be easier to sell the car with the stock exhaust or at least have it as an option if the buyer wants the stock exhaust.

I was willing to pay up to $100 for a stock LS3 cat-back (uncut). But...someone ended up giving me one for free.

Do we really need another one of these threads? All you will get are people that made coffee tables with them, some smoke reefer outta them and then others make "mad love to them"

What's the point? Just throw them out...they have no value

Oh but they do! When people want to go back to stock (like I did) and they realize they have hacked up their stock system (ike I did), some of us will be looking to buy a stock exhaust (like I was).

The LS3 exhaust is actually a pretty good design. However, I agree with ditching the L99 exhaust. The huge resonator is somewhat restrictive.

If anyone has an LS3 take off catback in the SE Michigan area they don't want, please shoot me a note.

Kept it at the performance shop where I did my exhaust install. One day never know if I need a spare exhaust to replace for the time being.

I kept the tips and mufflers. I told the shop that they could keep or discard the rest.

Left it for the shop to deal with. I have absolutly no use for it and I hate clutter.
