Thanks, yeah it was good seeing you too. I didn't see it on the hooked on driving schedule. Kinda bummed I was wanting to see if I could get to 170 next time. My wife has rubbed it in a couple times that she was faster than me. Now that I'm familiar with the track. You get you're car worked out yet?

Been to two SCCA AutoX events, not counting Fest 3. Can't wait for the new season to start in 5 weeks!!!!
As far as helmets, most events will have loaner helmets to use. The problem with this is they tend to have a limited supply, maybe 5-10 at the most, so you usually end up having to return it after each run, and then get another one before your next lap..... On a warm day this can be rather disgusting. A good SA 2010 helmet can be had for around $300, if you plan on doing ANY racing over a period of time, that's they way to go.

There's finally starting to be a reasonable number of people on here that think fun should last for more than 12 seconds. The number is still small but growing, especially lately.

AutoX in a Camaro is a blast. Get some stiff sways, solid and sound coil overs and you are giggling. Add more mods, brakes, and you might enter a corner at LUDICROUS SPEED

I know this is old, but I hate starting new threads.
What tire pressures should I be running on my stock Pirelli PZeros? Got 245/45/20 and 275/40/20. Thanks! |
