My radio says -40 degrees when its 80 outside!! HELP!

But not -40!!!

By the way, -40F = -40C. It's the point where the two scales intersect. Probably the Camaro thermostat stops at -40, so that reading may indicate a short to open.

Ditto, mine also, its reads 10 deg. low every time I wash it.
They put this sensor in the wrong spot, can't even get to it by opening the hood, (I tried).
