6th gen will change this story. More powerful V6, with an 8 speed transmission, and lighter weight should equal low 5 second 0 - 60 times.

I had a 2012 Accord V6 Coupe EX-L.

While it was a fun reliable car, my 2014 2LT is much more enjoyable. It also feels more peppy. Maybe seconds on the track show otherwise, but the rear wheel drive feels better. IMHO. And the Camaro sounds better as well.

It's always been the dilemma buying the entry level sports car. Non sports cars are right there nipping at your heals. And upper level non sports cars are beating you. Just the way it goes.

The 2015 honda accord v6 coupe is a great car....powerful sporty and deadnuts reliable. Rear wheel drive vs front wheel drive is a very tough comparison. Both cars have their own following.
