Texas Speed Cold Air Install Dyno Results - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I tuned the car stock, then added Kook's 1 7/8" headers with high flow cats and dyno'd again. Those results were 387rwhp and 388rwtq and here is a link to that thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56794

I finally got to install my TSP cold air kit yesterday and get back to the dyno.. I was VERY happy with the results! Final numbers were 403rwhp and 401rwtq! That's a pretty healthy gain from just a cold air. So as of now, the only mods on the car are TSP Cold Air and Kook's 1 7/8" headers with high flow cats. My next mod will be offroad pipes for the Kook's and then an under drive pulley.

Are you using the stock cat-back exhaust system? If so you might be able to pick up maybe another 10-15rwhp by changing out the H-pipe with an X-pipe.

Great job Scott! Glad to see it worked well for you! 15hp from a induction on a already tuned car is really really good! Combine that with the awesome pricing this kit offers & it's just about impossible to beat!!

Im assuming when he said off-road pipes he meant an offroad x-pipe. *ASSUMING*

I have a stock cat-back on the car. The offroad pipes I bought from Kooks only replace the cats with straight thru pipes. It still uses the factory system from the cats on back. As of right now, I'm going to stick with the stock cat back, I'm almost afraid to try anything else on it right now.. I don't want it too loud. I'm going to dyno with the off road pipes in place in a week or so.

Look into getting the resonated X-pipe....Magnaflow #11386. That should get you some power and help keep the tone down a little since it's inside a muffler.

very nice gains but i seen some posts with the same add ons getting 424 rwhp.
