What would you buy?

This should be a fun post that will get some back and forth. Bone stock 2013 L99 SS. If you had $1000 to spend on performance parts what would you prioritize.

1) catch can
2) CAI intake
3) scoop/washer tank
4) ported throttle body

Then the next time you save up some cash address the exhaust.

Everybody is going to give you a different list of things they would do. There is no right or wrong answer to this question. It is more of a question of preference...and each of us has a different set of preferences. But $1,000 is not a whole heck of a lot of money. The typical way to mod with that amount is to start with a cold air intake or a tune or an axle-back. And this is standard for just about every vehicle out there.

My first mods on an auto would be a cold air intake, thermostat, and dyno tune. Nice bang for the buck and makes the transmission shift a LOT better.

I'm not questioning you, I'm just curious. Why a thermostat bud?

on a auto cold air intake and a dyno tune. Ported throttle body will help with throttle lag.

honestly i would just do and intake and exhaust. while you wont have any huge gains from them, itll make the car a whole hell of a lot more fun to drive.

I'd go for an intake (CAI, Roto-Fab or Airaid) An Elite Engineering catch can and an axleback exhaust system of your choice. These parts will give you a little better performance and gas mileage, make the car sound like a muscle car should and protect the engine and keep it running strong for years to come.

Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions or for pricing.

Best regards,

Tyler

Just bought a 2013 L99 and have $1000 to spend...
I know, give all $1000 to Doc Brown, and see if he will take you back in time to before you bought it and buy an LS3 instead.
