has anyone done the cryogenic treatment to any of those gears? its pretty cheap and could potentially solve the issues with this gears.

LOL... Dunno how that happened. Maybe a moderator can move it. The next set of gears are going to be micro-polished.

You're right, those are some good-lookin' gears. Are these the "micro-polished" gears that have been mentioned? So what's the story? Your sig says you have 3.73's and the pinion in the pic says 3.70....what gives? Are these the LPE gears?

AAM!?!? Hmmmm, never heard of 'em. I don't suppose they make gears for our beloved camaro's, do they? I'm really leery of these richmonds now!

why are you running 4.10s in your A6? i dont know, but have read in many spots on this forum that for the A6, 3.73s are the best. just curious.

just because some on a messageboard think it's "best"...doesn't mean it's "best" for everyone. 4.10's in an A6 must be SICK...just not meant for everyone.

Another 4.10 failure... so sad. I man not be able to say I am the only, but I can always say I was first!

Richond "claims" to have done a metalurgy test on my shattered gears and found no problmes but I never say any test results, just a refund?

relax - i never post without reliable info. i got that info from richmond. so i think since they sell various sizes, they prolly know what works 'best'. in fact, they stated that running 4.10's in the A6 would be to low.

so i say to you.... relax and grow up.
