TBYRNE Performance - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello all. New to this message forum, but have been around on camaroz28.com for awhile.

Here is my issue with Tbyrne Performance. I placed an order on November 27, 2009 for a SLP Loudmouth II axle back exhaust and the SLP skip shift eliminator. I used paypal, and payment was made via echeck on December 2, 2009. I tried numerous times to contact Tbyrne only to be told my "items should arrive in a week", "shipment came in and should have it out to you next week" etc. As of now, no shipping/tracking data was ever received. Numerous attempts were made to contact Tbyrne with about only 5% of calls getting through, mostly no answer, straight to voice mail or busy signal. I have filed a dispute through Paypal on this after giving Tbyrne Performance over 3 weeks to ship the items. This has been an extremely frustrating transaction to say the least. Will keep you all updated as this unfolds.

He is well known in the Chevy Avalanche world as well. No contact, no delivery, etc.
He got booted from their website.

Update of such:
Took the Paypal dispute to a claim as TBYRNE has had plenty of time to correct the transaction. Tried again to contact via phone yesterday....same story, no answer and went to voice mail. Also filed compliant with the BBB on this problem. Will continue to update.

As I told you yesterday, I had to stop your order after you canceled. It would have arrived to you today. The refund is being taken care of through PayPal.

Understand that. As soon as the refund posts I will cancel the paypal claim and all will be null and void. This could of easily been avoided by simply providing the tracking data and/or improved customer service on your behalf. But it is, what it is. So you can expidite the process by fully refunding my payment or allow paypal to do their thing. Ball is in your court.....

Full refund of payment received on paypal. Thank you Tbyrne Performance for doing the right thing. Paypal claim closed. However, can not say I will be a repeat customer.

I will say this. I have dealt with tbyrne for many years when I had my 2000 Z28. He was top notch to work with, and I will deal with him when I'm ready to mod my new Camaro.

I'm sure he will make things right.
