Opticoat Rims?
Who has done it? Does it really keep them cleaner longer from all the brake dust and make it easier to clean or is it good advertised snake oil? Thanks

Had Opticoat professionally applied to my car and rims last spring. Can't say it made a bit of difference in regard to the accumulation of brake dust on the rims. I still had to clean the rims so often I eventually replaced the stock brake pads with a set of low dust Hawks.

When you cleaned them, did it make it easier to get that dust off?

Opticoat is not going to prevent any dusting. It will protect the clear coat on your wheels from the brake contamination. If you are doing regular washing all you should use is soap and water to clean your wheels. I do recomend a set of wheel woolies and a boars hair brush to relase all the gunk that gets imbedded on our wheels.
Not snake oil. Not a one step and forget product...... nothing is.
