What are you wanting to do with the USB?

Good luck because the Alpine and Metra kit for installing a double din alone cost $300

I just scrapped this idea cuz with intstall and metra it was 500 plus the head unit but if you are doing it yourself and got the metra cheap then u r going to get off better than I was going to since I don't want to rip my car apart myself. Anyways I did alot of checking and u probably want to spend more like 800 and get something nice. I was looking at the kenwood for around 800 and it comes with garmin nav which seems to be the best and most user friendly. I looked at alot of others but for what I was looking for I wasn't going to be happy with anything less. Once I heard the final of 1300 installed I started looking to skimp on a the head unit but I reached the conclusion that if I was to do this I was going to get something decent so I am just not doing it. I don't remember the models I was looking at but I was checking on crutchfield.com and amazon.com and seeing which ones were rated well plus checking features and going from there. One thing I would look for if I was you is one of them offered a split screen design so you could toggle between radio and nav vs having to back up out of the nav to change the song ect... which seemed to be a real hassel. Again I never did do this and have never used one in a car but the conclusion I reached was that I wouldn't do anything but a kenwood since kenwood uses garmin and the rest didn't seem to be as user friendly without garmin.

I think you are going to lose your stock usb and aux but most of the nice ones come with a usb that can be ran into the consol or where ever you want it.

Ok, I'll try to answer some questions for you.
- you will Lise your USB jack
- you won't lose the aux jack
- my radio displays the station/track at the bottom when using the navi....no going back and forth either. You use the same buttons to change songs
- I can help you in the install if you'd like. It is super easy, trust me. The radio comes out within one minute. I could do a quick video or something for you. If the wiring is intimidating, you can ship me your stuff, I'll wire it for you, Check it in my car for you and then send it back to you. Say $20 and you catch shipping.
-mount your navi antenna on the dash right behind the day/night sensor in the middle of the dash. Mounting it outside will look retarded because you already have an antenna out there. Mine works perfectly. I'll help you any way I can...you don't know what your missing if you don't do this.
